Dear Jock,

Thanks for all that you have given us over so many years and for making it easier for us to let you go. It was so fantastic to speak to you on Monday and feel the strength of your spirit and warmth of your soul.

We have told Ben that uncle Jock has gone to a better place and he wanted to know if he had taken the picture that he painted for you. We told him that you had taken it with your spirit.

We are certain that we will see you again and know for sure that you will have a drink and laugh with us.
